To be effective, a nonprofit organization must have a strong and committed board of directors who understands their role and pursues them with passion and a sense of mission. Members of the Board of Directors have legally required (fiduciary) duties; including duties of care, loyalty and obedience. The Board of Directors for Twenty (20) Something is a pivotal part of the organizational success. Each board member is committed to the overall personal and professional success of every young woman who enters a program. The primary role and responsibility of the Board is resource development, cultivating new partnerships and involvement in programs and signature events.
