The Girls University Initiative is for high school-aged young women who plan to attend college. This initiative is designed to assist high school students with identifying the best college for their field of study, along with assisting them with the application process. Students will also have an opportunity to explore what it means to be a new college student away from home and on their own. Students will gain critical information about drugs and alcohol, gender specific relations, feminine health, economics, personal responsibility, student activities, Greek life and a plethora of other issues. The Girls University initiative will also focus heavily on the emotional and spiritual development of participants. Participants will have the opportunity to regularly meet with a licensed counselor during Life Group Sessions and pre- and post-evaluations.
